Session MEIJISHI KARATE THON Sat. April 26 is the Karate Thon in Ferndale. This is a fun event with outside running and inside calisthenics and karate events. Forms will be available during classes. The art of karate has been passed from generation
to generation through oral tradition and hand to hand teaching. The
Okinawan Karate Club of Ann Arbor is a group
dedicated to the teaching
of Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro's Karate, Kobudo, and Jujitsu. We
offer classes for women, teens, and children. Head instructor Barbara
L. Christensen holds the rank of 6th degree black belt and trains directly
with Shimabukuro O'Sensei. Membership in the Okinawan Karate Club of Ann Arbor offers:
